Arduino Uno LCD TFT Shield for 8-pin 40-bit TFT LCD is used for the purpose of transferring the communication voltage between LCD TFT (3V) and Arduino Uno or Mega2560 (5V), if directly connected LCD to Arduino Uno or Mega2560 will not be used can be used or burnt LCD due to the difference in communication voltage, shield can be used with Arduino Uno or Mega2560 (or similar types of Arduino with foot type) and LCD supports 8bit Data communication standard or parallel both standards 8 / 16bit (does not support the 16 bit standard)
